Password Generator
What to choose first
Start with 8 characters
The default password uses uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols in an 8-character mix.
Increase length for important accounts
Longer passwords are stronger. Use the length control when creating passwords for email, banking, hosting, or admin dashboards. For broader account safety, read our guide on protecting your email from hackers.
Use symbols when allowed
Keep symbols enabled unless a website rejects them. A password manager can help store the stronger result safely.
What this tool does
It creates a random password in your browser and makes sure the result includes uppercase, lowercase, and numeric characters. When symbols are enabled, the generated password includes at least one symbol too. If you are testing signup flows, combine it with the Dummy US Profile Generator, or make a scannable link with the QR Code Maker.
